Hello and Welcome to ABCs of History!

My name is Josh Alper, a San Diego high school junior who happens to be in love with history.  

After receiving a task to craft a synthesis paper from my AP World History teacher in my sophomore year, I began to write the first article uploaded to this site, the history of Art Deco. Pretty soon, the school year ended and the summer of 2022 began. I had a job during the evening but was looking for something rewarding and engaging to do during the day, and that is when I got the idea to create a website where the public could read up on interesting historical topics. Since I already had an article starting with the letter A, I figured I should make an article for each letter of the alphabet, and that led to this website. The articles take quite a long time to write,  and this will be an ongoing project

I hope you enjoy exploring whatever article you pick and check back regularly to see if I fill in any more letters (the article writing rate will slow down a bit during the school year as I will be focusing on my studies).
